It's standardized dress.
We have to have SOLID COLOR, COLLARED shirts.
And slacks.
:l all of certain colors.
No HOODIES ( *cry* )
No Converse ( Solid color shoes ONLY )
No Independency LOL
Our shirts have to be tucked in, too.
And they can't have pictures on them. :l SOLID COLOR. yeah. I think I said that? Designer logos can't be bigger than our school ID'S, which we have to wear around our NECKS.
IT GOES ON AND ON
Skirts and shorts have to be to our knees, which doesn't even make shorts frigging shorts, anymore.
I don't mind those. I don't wanna see some girl's ass hanging out, thanks.
LUCKILY.
There IS a way, hopefully.sent me a place to make a petition for our school's dress code next year. :3

We're going to a sort of pseudo-uniform cause our school's too cheap to pay for ACTUAL uniforms, which I would prefer over 'standardized dress'.

My school has a uniform. Their damn itchy pants and their collared shirts that have to be tucked in. Its a bitch. I look like a DORK. And you have to wear their jackets too.
So, if there's a chance that I can prevent that, or close to that, for somebody else....I am going to help!

I've been lucky enough to never have a dress code enforced while I was in school but I do have to say that schools need to enforce something. I'm only saying that cuz not everyone wants to see a guy's ass as he walks down the hall due to his shorts that are like 20x too big for him. I also hated seeing girls wearing small or low cut shirts and low rise jeans. By low rise jeans, I mean, you bend over and everyone can tell you what color undies you have on (Thongs/G-strings) and no one really wants to see that, which of course leads to sex and then usually creates a pregnant kid. When I was in high school, there were at least 6 pregant girls in my senior year alone. Through all four years, I have no idea but still. Anyways, I think people should be able to dress how they want but it shouldnt be in a slutty/gang related way.
But, Brit, I do wish you luck in this and I do have a quote that I heard that I love. I dont know who it's by but it was from some young girl on an Oprah thing for a new girl school that was built like in Africa or somewhere. Here it is.
